Rosaline J. Mitchell

Rosaline J. Mitchell retired Executive Assistant with forty years’ experience working in Staff Development at Oak Hill. Rosaline was a powerful force in the workplace lending her positive attitude and tireless energy to coach and encourage others. 

Founder and CEO of ReJoyce-CT she developed a youth program entitled Discovering Life-Skills Creatively for ages 10-15 to receive instruction in home economics, etiquette training, gardening, healthy meal planning/preparation, cursive writing and creating generational blueprints. In addition, attendees are provided guidance and education on stock investment. In her dedication she continues to be an advocate for the underserved while providing hope.

She continues in her role as a mentor for All Pointe Care since 2008 to assist teens in finding their way. Rosaline is inspired daily to pursue her dreams and aspirations by her husband of 42 years Emanuel, their son Devon, Sr, daughter Brittani and three grands Devon Jr, Joy and Brookline.

 

Along with five Hartford natives Rosaline Co-founded Hearts of Gold in 2008. A non-profit organization hosting annual community cookouts to feed 1000’s in addition to registering 100’s to vote and visiting local convalescent homes providing blankets, gourmet coffees and home baked goods.  In addition, Hearts of Gold sponsored a team with the Hartford Northend Little League.

 

Rozz as she is affectionally known has a love for the community where she was born and bred. She needs no GPS to navigate throughout Hartford.  Rosaline serves as Vice President for Ase Investments, a real estate initiative consisting of individuals dedicated to purchasing real estate and providing housing to inner city residents. As a result she will create generational wealth for her children, grands and great grands.

 

Rozz’ hobbies include traveling, creating one-of-a-kind creations in her sewing room, cooking, baking and enjoying “soil therapy” in her flower and vegetable gardens.  Rosaline is the proud recipient of the 100 Women of Color, Kamala Harris Prestigious and Professional Women in Business Awards.  She sits on the following boards: Bloomfield Toastmasters, Bushnell Performing Arts Advisory Board, Dress for Success Hartford Steering Committee, Hartford Renaissance District, Northern Belle, Red Hatters Society and Voices of Women of Color.
